A lawyer was sitting at his desk at home when his wife entered the room.
She asked, “Do you remember on our wedding day you promised to always tell me the truth?”
He said yes, but his mind raced, afraid of what the next question could be…
“So does this dress make me look like a lawyer?”
Relieved, he answered
“No, not at all.”
“Why” she asked.
“Because from the light behind you, coming thru the doorway, it looks like you have no briefs.”
He slept on the couch that night.
