Despite being a naturally extroverted individual, his ability to interact with others was severely limited. The face transplant not only offered a solution to these challenges but also provided hope for a fulfilling and active social life.
The surgical team consisted of nine skilled surgeons specializing in plastic surgery, ENT (ear, nose, and throat), and maxillofacial surgery. This unprecedented medical and scientific accomplishment was made possible by the dedication of the entire team.
